Every year, we have a family tradition that we go to Lake Tahoe for almost 2 whole weeks and relax and create family memories like no other...
SO WHEN SUMMER COMES I START COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS...
starting when i drop of my drakie off at the airport so he can hang out with grandma before we get there, to the time that i see him again and give him lots of kisses
countless hours in the car with my honey talking, listening to music, singing and taking pictures of our fun 8 hr drive
countless days waking up to my honey next to me or knowing that I can sleep in every day because he will be there with the kids watching their morning shows together
countless days waking up to a warm cabin looking out at the beautiful lake
countless days at the beach watching the kids be kids and
enjoy the beauty that surrounds us
countless boat adventures, fishing attempts, tube riding and lots of laughs
countless days daddy playing with drake and annita non-stop
countless days in the back porch enjoying the sunsets and wow every day is a beautiful sunset in Lake Tahoe
countless days of talking about everything and anything with my mom in law
countless days of being with my little family and wishing that we could stay in Tahoe forever
So I'm always sad to come home because my honey has to go back to work, I wish I had him home all the time. My drakie has to go back to school, now annita has to go to preschool. I could be selfish and just make her wait another year until kindergarten but i would be a selfish mom. But mainly because i hate saying goodbye to my beautiful mom in law she is the most amazing mom in law any girl could have and I love our daily girl talks.
I am a lucky girl and I am very thankful to god for all those special people I have in my life and for all the many blessings he gives to me!!!
