GB: Ashley from Rustic Living...

We have one Beautiful Lady in the house... Not only is she beautiful and could totally be a Super Model, but she has an amazing sense of style of making things look amazingly chic and classy for her home. I love reading her blog and you will too.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley from Rustic Living
I'm so happy to be here at AA Dreams! Ani was so sweet to ask me to share with all of you a little passion of mine. I was blessed to have been raised on a farm in southern Idaho . It was there that I developed an appreciation for all things "rustic",  specifically furniture and home decor that has an antique or distressed look to it.

On my blog, I share furniture transformations and DIY projects.
I'm still a newbie to all of this, so sometimes things turn out
great and others....not so great.
Luckily, I get to share with you today the projects that not
only went well, but have become my favorites!

Blue Shabby Chic Dresser & Rustic Frame
I just can't get enough of the blue/gray color on this dresser! I kept the
old plates from the original knobs and added new shabby chic knobs that I
knew would compliment the color on the dresser. The rustic frame hanging
above is from the top half of an old door I picked up at a consignment
store. The bottom half I turned into a coffee table.

Sea Green Nightstand
For just $1.00 at an auction, I picked up this nightstand that was lonely
and lacking some character. I added some paint, did a little distressing,
and it quickly went from trash to treasure!

Personalized Pillows
I decided a couple months ago to tackle pillow making and have fallen in love with it! I love to personalize them, my current favorite thing is using wedding dates. I'm
going to start selling them soon so be sure that check them out!

Scripture Chair
This project was a lot of fun to do! I call it the Scripture Chair because
I placed Proverbs 3:5 on the seat cushion. It was great way to add some
charm and it works well with the beautiful turquoise color.

Wine Rack turned Towel Holder
This has become one of my most popular projects. I found this wine rack at
a thrift store for just six dollars! I knew I could use it for something,
so I brought it home and waited for the "light bulb" moment. It eventually
made its way onto a wall in my bathroom to hold towels. The husband and I
both love this towel holder for its functionality and cuteness!

Thanks Ashley for sharing your amazing creations you are definitely one talented beauty.
