"GET TO KNOW AMY"

AA Dreams: Tell us a little about you?

Amy: I am stay at home mom of two girls. Alissa is in 2nd grade and Aubrey is in Kindergarten. I am also a licensed health insurance broker. I work for an agent in California, and I am a partner in my own business here in Boise, Idaho. We moved to Idaho in 2008, and lived in Oregon for almost 8 years before that. My husband is a busy Detective, and loves his job.

AA Dreams: Where did you grow up?

Amy:I grew up in California. I miss it a lot. We have moved several time in order to allow my husband's career in law enforcement to advance. We love Boise, and expect to stay put for the long term.

AA Dreams: Who was your biggest inspiration growing up?

Amy: I always looked up to my sisters Suzanne and Danielle. They were a little older than me growing up. I watched them get married and have children, and always wanted what they had when I grew up. My mother was always such a sweet mom to me growing up, and I knew I wanted to be that kind of mommy to my kids one day. She was so creative, always working on stained glass, wood projects, ornaments, sewing. I always enjoyed doing those projects with her when we could.

AA Dreams: What inspired you to start your own business?

Amy: My mother has always been creative. I always saw her going to relief society and coming home with completed projects. She always had some sort of craft project happening, stained glass, sewing, wood working. I loved to see her be creative, and I believe I got that part of me from her. It makes me happy to be creative! For me its fun to sell on Etsy. It's exciting to see people share my love and want to own a piece of it.

AA Dreams: What was your first job you ever had?

Amy: My first job ever was busing tables at The Galley restaurant in Morro Bay, Ca at 15 years old.

AA Dreams: How would you describe yourself in 3 words?

Amy: Caring, generous, silly.

AA Dreams: Is there a beauty product that you can't live without?

Amy:I cannot live without my Bare Escentuals foundation and mascara!

AA Dreams: What is the one clothing article that you must have in your closet?

Amy:CARDIGANS! I am obsessed.

AA Dreams: Is there a song that you just can't get enough of, at this time?

Amy: I love listening to Norah Jones

AA Dreams: What are your weekends like?

Amy: Lets see, I am a mom of two so it usually consists of lots of laundry! We love to cook new food on the weekend, listen to music, watch movies, and play Uno with my girls.

AA Dreams: What is your biggest dream in Life?

Amy: My biggest dream in life was always to be a mommy, be married to a wonderful, hardworking man, have a nice home, and that all of us to be happy and healthy. I have all that I have ever dreamed of.
