As I watched my little ones roller skating and holding hands this last weekend. It reminded me of my younger years, when my parents use to take us mostly every week to our local Classic Skating Center.
Bringing memories from snowball, racing, chicken dance, the macarena and more and how fun it was to just be able to be free and skate without worrying of breaking an arm or a leg!!!
Of course my parents would sit and keep an eye out for us girls and they would have a fun little date at the same time.
Okay here goes a confession:
It was so funny one of the reasons I use to love going to Classic Skating and getting all cute before I went was to meet cute boys!!! YES, I was very BOY CRAZY...lol!!!
I'm sure that some of you did the same thing, I hope???
I'm so glad that this a fun tradition that my parents created so I could enjoy it with my kiddies as much they did with me!!!
Well here in the Valley snowed all week long pretty much
but even though it was cold we enjoyed it!!!
We had lots of fun and lots of yummy Delicious food.
Some of you may not know but I am actually 100% LATIN!!! I was actually born in Lima,Peru and moved back and forth from Ecuador to Peru as a I was child and came here to the States at 8 years old...
I feel so guilty at times because I haven't really taught my kids Spanish and everyone is always asking me why, why, why???
I know I should but its so hard when our main language at home is English!!! At least I can share with them delicious Peruvian food.
It is definitely one of the most delicious, clean and fast restaurants I have been too and the prices are so affordable!!!
