For the last few weeks I've been trying to look at
my local ads for a sewing machine table...
But let me just tell you I've had no luck at
all finding one that I really liked or one that was
around the price range I was looking for.
So last friday I saw an add for some book shelfs
and I thought and use more of my imagination and
walah I had just come up with a Dreamy Idea!!!
I could just redo this simple book shelf
into a little desk.
(Now I'm 5'2" so this actually was perfect for my height!!!)
I bought a book shelf for $5.00
a spray paint can for a $1.00 at home depot
and I was ready to go!!!
I am calling this my "Little Sewing Table"
Here is a quick tutorial of how I did it!!!
Here is The Shelf I bought for $5.oo
Take the back part cardboard out
and one of the top side shelfs out
then take that shelf that you took out
from the bottom and place it as a backing
(you'll see what I mean)
When you are done it will look like this!!!
Now spray painted to whatever color you wanted
and you have a beautiful little Sewing Table
It took me about an hour to make it!!!
